This series predominantly contains well-known quotations, or phrasal. The rustic industrial style method of working creates a high-contrast feel. Most of the pieces contain a lot of black and white, contrasting tones.

Loosely applied stencil lettering spells out well-known phrases and quotes, in a way that isn’t immediately obvious. The majority of works require a little thought and visual exploration to see what the work is saying. By not being blatantly obvious, as well as background lettering, some of the works might be considered subjective in what they say. Depending on your opinion, some of the works might say something different. Some works have more attention paid to them, mainly those with a feel-good factor, such as ‘love’ or ‘home’.
